A great night

I am glad I made the trek up to Circus guy J was awesome.

That track on the video sounds a lot like:

Thus, his set lacked a bit of flow, kinda like when a prog dj plays tracks that have a lot of breakdowns. Considering the type of tracks he played, I think he would have played a set that would have gotten the crowd going even more if he avoided mixing this way.

I think we attended different parties. That's his style, he mixes tracks (sometimes) during breakdowns, he also adds live sounds, and I said in my review, he turns his tracks into something else whilst the track is playing. He did play a lot of he's own productions, maybe that's why you say they had "a lot of breakdowns". That's his sound, and his sound kept that room pumping as I haven't seen in a long long time.

Of course, I know he plays a lot of his tracks. And I'm aware he adds sounds (once in a while), since he is using Ableton.

I was simply pointing out that the flow of his set was at times suffering from the fact it had too many breaks right after a mix. It's not a question of perception or opinion...it is simply a fact. You may have enjoyed it; I thought it could have been better.

Don't get me wrong: I still had lots of fun and thought his track selection was excellent. In fact, there are several tracks I'm also going to play during my set this Friday, at Circus
