edit: Truly alts ruin this fucking place. This thread was fine until that fucking fag Psyshell came in. Ugh. What happened to banning known alts? If they can't post under their original account, they shouldn't be allowed to post at all, imo.

One small problem, that's never been the reason I've changed my username ever. Mostly it tends to be due to losing the password.

in 12 years I have logged out of my account the max of 4 times

I've only had 4 over the 5 years I've been here. It's not that many. If I was changing "highschools" then I'd be changing forums. I'm not, I'm also not hiding my identity in the slightest so I don't see how that works at all.

If the admins really care that much they could just merge my user accounts or something. That's really just quibbling over a technicality. How often does a post from 3 years ago being correctly identified with the current active user actually matter? It's not exactly like it takes much detective work to figure out who an obviously not new member from melbourne is. There aren't exactly many options to choose from.
