Went to Piknic on Sunday. Caught Laura Jones who was really good, and quite a bit better than Tolfrey himself. I wasn't expecting anything from her all, but she pleasantly surprised me.

This was my first time at Piknic since 2009, and I was reminded yet again how amazing this event is. My hometown (Toronto) could only hope at having an event like this.

Keep doing what you're doing.

Also, from the sounds of it, I'm glad I didn't go to Stereo. This just reconfirms the reason I didn't go as a first place, which is that Maceo Plex sucks as a DJ.

I've always wanted to catch him there but never could make it. I was hoping he'd be back this year too.

Looks like he will make it to Montreal around August 9th to celebrate his birthday. My guess is he will play at Bleury or Daomé.
