uh thats the thing tho, i wasnt bad mouthing twisted productions... for god's sake, all i was doing was posting something someone else said on nwtekno, in case that was actually true. a simple "sorry, i have talked to and as it turns out its on, but thanks for the information" would have sufficed, rather than that condescending garbage post.
scene politics annoy me and i could care less about who knows who, i just want to know information, and try to give out information that may be true (and if not, could politely be proven wrong, as I DIDNT EVEN WRITE IT) and would affect all of us (re: ferry cancelling).

ok let's get a few things straight...
First off,,, I wasn't telling you to fuck off. Second,,, if anyone has an attitutde here... it's you. Sorry,,, but I was under the impresion that you were the one saying 'Sorry Trance Fans'. If you would have typed something after that then it would have been more obvious that you weren't adding to what was said. ANYWAYS... if you'd like some information,,, Azim told me that he'll be calling Ferry Corsten's agent tomorrow.
I'll keep you guys posted.
peace

more people seem to be believing this rumor now also (not from that post, but in general).. id be interested in hearing the "official" word. |
But truly what is official. Every no show I know of is confirmed until the night of. And even if he is cancelled they won't tell anybody until he is supposed to be spinning. It would just hurt ticket sales they would have to change flyers, it is just too much trouble. This goes for every production company, not just Twisted.

shitty deal...
I guess I was just really hoping that this was a rumor,,, and not for real...
SADLY,,, it is true Ferry Corsten will not be coming for Simple
Important Annoucement About Simple Iv - Please Read
Twisted Productions regrets to confirm and inform you that Ferry Corsten WILL NOT be playing at Simple IV on November 30th, 2002. Rumours started to fly late yesterday afternoon and it was confirmed literally today at 2PM with his agency that this was due to a personal family issue. As a result of this personal family issue, Ferry is taking a month off playing - Twisted Productions wishes him and his family all the best in doing what they need to do during this time. Ferry and his booking agency apologize and to further, have guaranteed Twisted Productions and Vancouver that he will be here on a date of our choice and exclusive to Twisted Productions only in the New Year. As this was an unforeseen and unpredictable event, Ferry's booking agency in place of him, has 99% confirmed Cosmic Gate as a replacement for Simple. -- The reason why it is not 100% is that contracts are being sent over to our attention. - Cosmic Gate is currently playing in South Africa and is unavailable to sign right now. Cosmic Gate will still rock the house and we want to thank the booking agency for making him available for us on such short notice.
On a separate note, Twisted Productions will be re-budgeting Simple and either be putting a special sale price on some select tickets or be allocating even more money to bringing you a bigger and better production.
Azim, myself and Twisted Productions would like to thank all of you for your continued support in 2002 and you have our continued commitment that we will put on the best shows and bring in some of the best talent in 2003. To support this statement, the same booking agency for Ferry has confirmed that Armin van Buuren has been made available to Twisted Productions and Vancouver for one of our shows in the new year so stay tuned!!!
Again our apologies for this late announcement as certain details/contracts had to be confirmed. Any questions/concerns can be directed to either or or you can give us a call at 699-2226.
Peace.
