Although it would be fun to see some of these DJs, many of them cost a lot more than they're worth. Most of them were better 10-20 years ago (depending on the DJ), and now charge huge and often unreasonable fees based on the reputation they've built, even though they're past their primes.
I'm sure that any of these DJs are capable of throwing really fun parties (re: Digweed @ Stereo in November), but I'd say it's a better move to focus on up-and-coming DJs who can still draw quite a crowd, are cheaper, and are more popular with the newer generation of clubbers. The recent Bicep/George Fitzgerald party is an example of the kind of parties I'd like to see a lot more of at the new club. Save the old guard for the big budget, few-times-a year parties. The new guard should become the norm.
