Don't want to be pain, but again, what gear do you own? please shoot a pic with a paper reading TA2015 on top of it
you sound like someone who started ITB and spend to much time on forums absorbing other ITB guys opinions. Get some real world experience first. And then re-read what you have been posting above.
Ofcourse you can blow us all away with your outboard collection which makes your opinion an informed one, an unconventional one, but informed...
Again I'm not saying ITB is bad or something, just saying analogue stretches a lot further depending on what you're after ofcourse.
Duuuuuude......people want to take this debate out of context and make it a red herring. THis isn't about mastering...this is about making electronic music......and when you work itb vs otb...it is ver very different....the workflow, the psychology, the creativity is all different. THis is the purpose of my thread over there....not whether you can master an electronic music song better itb vs otb.
now...i do actually think that you can get tjust as good a mix itb vs otb but that...is a different topic...and i dont want to argue over it on this thread because it's a waste of time and it doesnt be productive...

no that's the discussion over there on my thread....that is this discussion....not this thread discussion about warmth....which the trance elevation didnt even spcifiy anything, he just said warmth...and left it open.... people want to hijack this thread and make it a itb vs otb debate regarding mastering which is ....it's pointless....this thread is about warmth....everyone shares their opinions on what warmth means to them...and we discuss warmth...in a mix? in a synth? in an analog synth, in an FM synth...etc. not itb vs otb debates that go around in circles...
and my thread over there is about workflow, and how itb vs otb changes your workflow....not whether an analog synth sounds "warmer" than a soft synth..or whether you can get a song to sound better by mastering it using otb copressors and eqs......thats not the topic. that thread is a musicians discussion not a sound engineers...it's in the electornic music forum, not the mastering forum..

First of all don't call me "dude" I'm not your buddy.
2nd of all, warmth is a quantification which has jack shit to with workflow, It might be relevant in mastering, if that's whats one is looking for. But far and foremost it's a production question.
you seem a bit confoosed.
Last but not least still haven't seen any TA2015 marked pics, putting some meat around the bones of your perspective.
For all I know, I could be trying to argue with a 14 year old Canadian kid with a torrented daw.
I'm not going to quote in this thread, but I strongly recommend everyone with a sense of humor to read this:
your answers are just so funny. It perfectly paints the picture about your hindsight and experience
I also am intriqued by your unconventional view on audio quality

studio pics, or it didn't happen and your posts will be degraded to just another uninformed torrented DAW tool's opinion.... Now hurry, credibillity is going down the drain fast here....
Save what's left, or just admit you made ignorant uninformed comments, just based upon other ignorant uninformed tools hearsay.
