Think Hive really is a keeper, used it in so many of my productions already.

Really everything about the synth is outstanding... the oscillators, filters, effects and UI...

How so? CPU hog you mean?

I don't notice it using that much really... the only plugins that make my system choke if I load enough of them are Diva and 2CAudio B2.

I haven't noticed any excessive CPU use here, either. SX1, are you on a PC or Mac?

Arturua products are fucking dire, and the company has awful customer service and does not deserve your money.


Agree except for one product. Their SEM emulation actually sounds pretty good in my opinion. It doesn't offer the "largeness" of a real SEM, but it nails the character in non-extreme settings.

As for Hive, I tried it, thought it was okay, but didn't feel like it offered anything I didn't already have. Diva, Sylenth1, Virus TI2, and V-Station have got me covered in that department.
