There's no way a large mp3 collection will be worth any money. I wouldnt ever sell mp3s, I find it morally wrong, because not only am I taking money from the artist, but I'm making it as well.

I download the song just to see if i like it and if its good i buy the vinyl just because its good.

Isn't it illegal if those mp3s are off of p2p sharing programs like Soulseek?
Yea, Ive seen ppl on ebay selling large hard drives of mp3s and videos and thats pretty wrong. I can only see how this would ever be worth anything is if you rip the mp3s to wav and use them to dj hence saving tons of money on vinyl.

its NOT right to make money on someone elses work. thats much worse than downloading it for free.
If YOU make money on a track that Ferry did...dont you think thats much more wrong than if you downloaded it for free so that you could listen to beautiful music when you cant afford to buy it? I think there is a clear difference.
