Kewl, I guess it depends on how broad the music you are talking about is.
Because we generally stick within a smallish circle of genre names, my frineds and I refer to stuff as Hard Trance (Dumonde), Hi-NRG Trance (Nick Sentience) and Hardstyle (Scot P)

I know that it isnt exact, but thats what we use when talking to each-other so we know what we all mean
