just to get back on topic and off of this 16 year old bullshit...
who are you to assume that scot project has changed his style to accomodate uplifting fans, and to play "what the people want to hear". you have no idea whats going on in scot projects head. i totally agree that second trip, french kiss, modem, etc. are all without a doubt his best work...everyone has their absolute best work that they can never match again, and i think for that style of those remixes there, scot wont do something like that again, he has evolved to a trancier feel. i went out and bought about 80% of scot projects productions and remixes when i got turntables because i love them all, and BTW IF ANYONE HAS MODEM AND WILL SELL IT TO ME ILL PAY YOU VERY GENEROUSLY. im just trying to get some shameless advertising there
back to the real shit though...people say that trance generators, gaida, technoboy have all copied scot projects style. well they have, they are trying to imitate his non trancey style such as second trip and modem, and you know what, their productions arent as good, they lack what scot project has. so to say that they have matched him in the scene isnt true, scot project was the innovator and none of the newer producers even come close, i refuse to play out any of them except for trance generators.
scot project was the man, and still is the man.
and someone sell me modem please |
lets just say that from all his sets i have in germany/holland.etc.. his sets all seem harder than what they do here in england. this is because ppl in the uk arnt as 'hardcore' as the germans and the dutch. A little trend i have noticed.... the more that scot p started playing over heere, his sets were ever changing more and more... and getting more uplifting , as were his productions.
first time i saw him live was in february this year, he dropped tracks like:- marc van linden pres. madagascar - this way (derb mix), hardcore will never die (derb mix)....all hard tracks like that an used to play all his great old stuff at the end of his sets, like second trip, and the such like ..... noe hes playing stuff like art of trance - madagascar (kumara mix)... and then all his newer productions which arnt as hard. ill leave you to discover the trend in that.
and how you say that technoboy, giada etc are copying off scot p.. thats the biggest load of shit ive ever heard from sumone who claims to know so much about the topic. giada, and technoboy and trance generators are italian hardstyle..... and how you say 2nd trip, and modem etc are non-trancey..... i dont know what mixes of them you have been listening to pal.
please tone your next reply down mate, i aint arguing with you. your right, i dont know what is going on in scot p's head.. neither do you, so you cant argue with me about that. the facts are ALL written above mate.
