how can mauro picotto be over rated? He ownz all of us. Although his mixing isnt mind blowing, his sets are SICK. His style and the tracks he drops makes my heart skip a beat from so much bass. When he drops Baquette, riots erupt.

Tiesto. His music has no real hands-up quality anymore.
yea...tiesto used to be amazing...then he did the same thing as oakey did...at least oakey has had a decent rebound...but i think his cd ruined that...sasha is a bit underrated in my mind

This is a ridiculous thread, it should be called "Djs that you hate most" or "Djs that you are most jealous of because they are more popular than your favorite Dj"

No no, don't get me wrong. When I first got into it, I remember buying once of my first trance CDs which was 'Global Underground Paul Oakenfold in New York' and he quickly rose to be my favorite DJ. But at some point not so long ago, I just think he may have let the fame get to his head, and it began to affect his ability to entertain me, as he once did...
couldn't have said it better myself

Sasha and John Digweed are not overated in my opinion. I have heard them live and its magic. Someone might say this because they are expecting an uplifting set but its a completely differnt type of music and feeeling to it.
I'll second that Mauro Picotto owns all of us. His sets are full of destruction! So hard its disgusting and he wasnt always this hard. When he throws baugette , headroom- hunt , shokabuku , and all that tribal acid techno shit , its beautiful.
When this topic comes up the only dj that comes to mind honestly is just oakey.

Oakenfold has gotten to be kind of dull as of late. Can't say I like any newer songs...
