Nevermind about easy access to new music material, you missed the point of commercialization. It gets more expensive for the party goer. BAck in the roots and the beginnings of the rave subculture, everybody, even your pet hamster, could afford to go to these raves.
With the subculture, espeically the music, b eing more in the lime light of the public eye and entertainment industry, it may become more exclusive, glamorized, and get bloated with popularity. I think it will lose some of its magic and mystere of the underground subculture.
