I haven't been listening to a lot of music lately, mainly because I've been too busy producing (the world eagerly awaits my first production). Anyway, tunes that have been recently rocking DJ Dowlz's boat include:

1. GTR - Mistral (original mix) (tune!)
2. Sholan - Can You Feel (Thrillseekers remix) (nicely chilled)
3. System F - Solstice (finally released)
4. Cosmic Gate feat. Jan Johnston - Raging (Flutlicht vocal mix) (takes a while to get going, but once it does, pure bliss)
5. Push vs Globe - Tranceformation (Push Transcendential vocal mix) (too me a while to like this one)
6. Libra pres Taylor Anomaly - Calling your name (Thrillseekers dub)
7. Riva - Time is the healer (Armin van Buuren dub) (getting a little old, but you've just gotta love that synth entry)
8. Solarstone - Solarcoaster (Midway remix) (and the original for that matter too)
9. Chicane - Saltwater (Thrillseekers remix) (so similiar to the Tomski vs Disco Citizens remix it ain't funny)
10. Ralphie B - Massive (Mirco De Govia dub) (a nice fresh spin on a trance classic)

But that was just a dream, That was just a dream, But that was just a dream, Try, cry, why try? That was just a dream ,Just a dream, just a dream, Dream

God yes, w0rd to that. Mark James destroyed me with that at Summadayze, and I've been caning it on Winamp ever since (God bless that DC hub). I just love hearing 'new' tracks - ones that I've never heard - on a big fuckoff sound setup. It makes the experience that much more mindblowing. Steve and Dave did that to me with Aurora - Hear You Calling (En Motion Remix) the other week, too.

Other wicked tunes that I've picked up recently (disclaimer: some of these may be old):

Blackeight - The Silence (Original Mix)
Almost proggy, but then some nicely understated synths kick in -- and it's a simply beautiful track. One of the few where male vocals really suit.

Nitromethane - Time to Die (Seraque Mix)
Sounds hard to begin with, but reminds me of something Armin might play. PvD certainly does play it -- from his Glow set last Friday.

And I'll throw in the James Holden remix of Kirsty Hawkshaw - Fine Day, just for when you get bored of 7 hours of the Koglin remix . Sorry, I know I'm babbling about this track, but I have utterly fallen in love.

Not any particular tunes

but Sasha is fucking tickling my balls at the moment!

I just bought the Global Underground DVD, and I have to say Sasha is the coolest guy ever! Plus i learnt theaps from him. Truly is a master. It's funny as to see him go to a gig that is empty! He has to play to like 5 people! And before he knew what the club was like he thought it was some big awsome club, he offered to do it for free. hahahahaa, he looked so embarressed.
