I do exactly the same - I download some mp3 rips of cds, and particularly if I like them, I go out and buy the CD.

Go and pick up The Politics of Dancing. It's one of my favs in my entire collection, it's regularly played...

Sometimes I pick up CDs on spec, and more often than not I like them, but sometimes I prefer to check the mix out before hand, play it thru a few times... sometimes these things grown on you after a few plays - like Airdrawndagger (I hated it the first time I listened to it).

If anything MP3 has got me into dance music much more than I would have, because you can pick up ubscure stuff much more easily than I would have just bought on spec.
