Viva is a good club, but not a great club. The crowd is sometimes shabby, and needs more chicks (i include crowd in clubbing criteria )

If they would pump more money into system i would like it a lot more.
Guv at Ornadel was a great party, the lazer show was most impressive, and im not really into lazers. Guv is just too packed and the fact that u cant even get a glimpse of the dj really pisses me off. Cant immagine not seeing mauro, or shaking his hand. The man is a legend!

THE BEST CLUB IMO is ARIA!!!!!!

They have everything, good size, feel, equipment, dj's, lighted floors, plasma screens, chicks........Simply taylored to the needs of all clubbers. IF U HAVEN'T BEEN THERE, DON'T CRITICIZE UNTIL YOU DO!

I would have to say the best overall good feel in a club would have to be fluid for me. Whenever i go there, i always have a good time. Good broads, good music, cool bouncers, NO PRICKS!

Well put. To be honest, I think it does the trick, but I didn't leave ranting about the place. It could use some work here and there but at the end of the day, the sound and lights were above par.

I know this is totally subjective, but I've always liked bigger over smaller and intimate. I like the vibe of the biggest max out crowd possible. I love the concert feel and honestly, nothing does that like Koolhaus. (well and the BLC, but that's another thread on its own)

So right away that gave them a bad impression about the place. That and the lasers in the club experienced problems and shut down early into the night , so half the people that got inside much later didn't even get a chance to experience that effect.

NYE was my first time at Viva... and I didn't even know any TA's at the time. Still, I think most people in that position would be smart enough to understand that it was overpacked simply because it was NYE, and also I would assume that some of the electrical problems they had might have been due to the enormous amount of heat being pumped into that tent. Maybe that's not correct, maybe Viva really did just fuck up, but even if that's the case, nobody's perfect.

What if you'd never seen PVD spin before, and he somehow messed up a track when you went to see him, would you storm out of the place and never see PVD again? I don't think so.

Don't see the forest through the trees, that's what I've been told... don't stare at the crackheads, don't sit there waiting for the lasers to come back, take a step back for once and see the most important things - the music, and the vibe. I met a group of totally great non-TAs on the way there, and if a random handful of people were worth partying with, then it's fair to say that the Viva crowd is in general.

I still say Viva rules. Yes, I'm sure the place could use some work, but look, Viva actually LISTENS to what people have to say about them! Isn't that the most important thing? Guvernment doesn't really seem to give a crap, everybody I know says the place is way too packed, but they continue to cram it.

Anyway, I'm tired... maybe I'm not thinking coherently. But man, Viva is addictive. I've only been there twice and I already can't wait to go back.

u know thats something that happened to me....AVB spun in september, everyone loved him, i didnt, that was the first time i saw him. people said that thats the way he usually does it...so now i dont care bout AVB no more.

well what viva needs to work on is only the layout, but they are putting alot of money into whats really worthwhle. Such as the lasers and pyros which is more important when ur on the dancefloor and need ur senses heightened.

i find the drinks a bit cheaper than guv. i cant say they are much cheaper.

the dj booth is lower in viva than at the guv room where u cant even see the DJ and kool haus where maybe u can see the DJ but in the end hes not in a booth but on a stage.

those are points i can think of now...
