Smoking ..umm..something

I think Armin keeps getting better as time passes. His DJ skills has increased enormously + his ASOT sets really made him gain popularity. As far as his productions some haven't been as great as his past... But they're still very enjoyable.

jamie, good or not good, tomcraft is not a trance dj/producer. msot of his album is gothic electro wierd stuff.

and dont argue back ya twat im just stating a fact

as for my views on armin, i still enjoy his sets. be they stereotypical default trance, theyre still nice sets, but i wont go WOHOOO FUCKING ARMIN SET SO MINT AND AMAZING LETS SHAG MY COMPUTER coz he isnt anything special, just nice.

but to be fair more and more morons will liek him and he will tiesto-ize, the majority of his fans drinking red stripe lager in crasher, YEY. not

exactly.
i think he's jsut taking a different approach to his music..he still makes some good tracks. if you put it that way, you could say any big name dj out there was better in the past. perhaps armin's on a different wavelength.

youll get no argument from me with that statement, i agree, but i think that tomcraft will influence trance in the coming year.

i sure hope so, i like different trance, even if its different yet the same most of the time, its still not ur basic trance like most of the stuff armin plays.

also im sick of everything being to proggy. there are other ways of making stuff different

plain and simple... TRANCE NEEDS A NEW TALENT to take it to the forefront again.... cos to be fair, there aint really been anyone else since the ferry armin tijs era, that have achieved the same as what they did

Im not sure what to say on this one, I guess i agree, Armin isnt quite what he used to be production wise. Mixing i have always enjoyed his sets, I agree with dumonde trancer, theyre nice to listen to they are not mint. I dont hate Armins work though, His recent work has been OK. I think in all honesty Armin needs to take a little time off, if he is not mixing he is producing and i think that rate which he has been going at has cut some of his creativity down. I think he needs to put a lil more thought into his work, for example the Remix of solid Sessions - Janero sounds exaclty like his mix of rapture till you get to the vocals, it seems like he is getting in the habbit of recycling synths and drum patterns. IMO he just needs to slow down the producing to get a more original angle again.

aye but back then making normal trance was different, these days uve really gotta think up summat good to make it diffy from what has been done in the past, and as more n more diffy stuff comes, it will be harder n harder to make stuff diffy, take marco v for example, he was innovative and i still enjoy his stuff
