Besides trance, I listen to some Turkish Rock and Pop and I love lots of stuff from the early to mid 90s... But even growing up, I always had a thing for electronic/trance music...

Soz, I haven't read thru the entire thread but....
I also like a bit of funky and tribal house (in doses), breaks is cool and also a lil hard house. And whatever you can define Paul Van Dyk, I LOVE THAT! His style is so varied it's awesome
But I must say that after Armins set @ TT, Trance just does it for me.

Still loving most forms of dance music.
Other than trance , my second love is house in most of its forms, mainly funky, deep, dark and dirty house.
Also have respect for the prodigy, and recently John Maher , that dude has a unique sound.

I'm into trance, tech-trance, progressive trance, trancy breaks (think infusion - legacy), a very small dose of hard trance...
Get the picture?

Love the trance - but nice to balance out with some rnb, sexy house, and I love my rap *BONE THUGZ* and 2pac - almost as much as trance. I love any music that makes u feel good - Chilli Peppers,Fatboy, Artful Dodger. what is life without music?

Main love is ofcourse trance, but i also mix Drum & Bass, Breaks and a little bit of house.
I was a massive breaks fan in 2000/2001 and after LTJs set @ field day i thought i might try my hand at dnb, and you need a bit of house for house parties etc.
Still chuck on a few Korn/slipnot/kid rock cds now and again but not very often.
I only buy vinyl now. I dont think i have bought a cd in about a year or more.

I blieve it is a better alternative to hard trance. Because it is harder than trance but still just as uplifting. I don't find actual 'hard trance' uplifting/euphoric enough it can be to dark at times.
Anyway I'm totally into Happy Hard at the moment!
Hahaha Josh, I never knew you were really into happy hardcore, it is just a recent interest? You only had 1 or 2 happy hardcore records when you hosted our meetup. What tracks have you got now?
I love happy hardcore too. Depending on the track, it's often even more euphoric than trance but in a more energetic and simpler upfront way, and there is often so much feeling of love in it. Classic tracks like these come to mind:
Brisk & Trixxy - Eye opener
A-tension - Angels
Bang! - Shooting star
Scott brown - Elysium
Sy & demo - Stay with me
Hixxy & sharkey - Toytown
I only started getting into happy hardcore a few years ago when I started attending events put on for the Sydney rave scene like Back to basics, Hyperspeed, Mystic, and Utopia.
Suae and Weaver are good happy hardcore DJs in Sydney. They often play on the CPX radio show on 99.9FM Wednesday nights.
