LOL at this thread!
Anyways, its all opinion based as usual, and as usual ppl have started to flame each other for each others opinions
But IMO, tiesto is known for having shotty mixin skills at best, and havin seen him and PvD live in the past 2 months, I deffo give the edge to PvD!
Both had good sets mind you, but tiesto's mixin was terrible, even trainwrecking twice
Whereas PvD's was flawless, I also preffered the way PvD's set flowed, but hey thats just my opinion on the matter.
And I'm positive that Tiesto will not be voted #1 Dj this year, but who cares anyways, if for some reason Darude was voted #1 would ppl buy it? Would they stand here and staunchily defend him as the true #1 dj in the world? Fuck No! So whats the diff w/ tiesto? If you think he's number one great, if not thats cool too.
I know who i believe is the best and thats all that matters to me and my tiny little life

What do you put into your live sets that has made you a dancefloor favorite for the past decade?
"I’m a dance floor favorite? Great! I would say the passion that I feel for the music I buy and the honesty with how I play it. I play the records I love not the ones that simply work. I’ve never taken the easy music option (which would make me a lot more money by the way) but chosen to push people a little. I try to draw people in a new direction slightly and expand their taste a little more than other DJ’s." - Lee Burridge
