A mate at school works at this suppliers place in Essendon, says he can get roughly 40% off most brands, so i gave him a list of stuff and got him to get the prices for me I could probably get you some shit as well, but i gotta check that this guy can follow through on what he says first

I think u've got a shit attitude, just cos u've been registered a long time, doesn't give you the right to flame Luke, whos' getting a record deal & has a radio show weekly, so not bad for a 'homo' eh ? if you wanna make comments like this, fuck off to trance.nu or something, we don't need stuck up ****s, most of us get on well, and you gotta fit in or get out, no need for comments like that when u know fuck all

Like that fag project t he thinks he knows it all and think i can't afford a mixer and shit but to tell u the truth dude i have more money than his family can ever save up.

• YOU started the saga by saying that's sad to hear over a mixer which I payed £700 for including insurance, sorry but that comment was intended to cause offence and u damn well know it

• Nice reading skills, look back i wrote stupid or elitist, get some glasses or a brain

• I don't work, only part-time webdesign.

• I am not homosexual

• You have more money than my family can ever save up, maybe you do, maybe and most probably I couldn't give a shit. However being only just 17 with a DJM-600s and 1200s payed for all by myself with a record deal pending isn't bad going IMO.

• Having never heard of you as a DJ or Producer I must say having all this expensive gear has done you ever so much good GET A LIFE!

Please have the courtesy not to be a nob in future, the thread is staying open for the benefit of the guy who wants this mixer.

About the clicking on the 175 kills and the paintwork problems, I can confirm that these both do happen as it was my last mixer before the DJM, for the money the Stanton RM-3 is a much better mixer but the sound quality ain't as good, I would just save up and get the 275 if you can

i guess that means yourself or deejay2002 must be "homo" and deejay2002 doesn't seem to be a "homo" to me and i'm sure he won't appreciate being called a "homo" just as i don't, so watch what you're saying.

We don't tolerate racism, ageism, sexism, or whatever u call choice of sexuality on this board, you should have been registered long enuff 2 know that. So once again book your ideas up.

What people are trying to suggest is he goes all out and buys big so there is no need for more expense when an upgrade is.

The fact of the matter is I've had the djm-600 for 3 years with both me and my brother using it and we still have not had the slightest problem with it (touch wood).

The other point you make about it being shite is a tad farcical. Obviously you don't know how to get the best out of it cos it was installed in clubs worldwide since it came out and numerous dj's have hailed it as the best peice of mixing equipment ever. The djm-600 is by far and away the best mixer for a bedroom set up. The allen and heath 62 can only really be appreciated when used in a club installation, when i'll admit it does kick djm ass.

Calm down buddy. We all know that at the end of the day it's the dj who counts, but it's always nice to have a bit of luxury at the old fingertips. I agree you could probably out dj many of us on hear, but I don't think that was the argument in the first place.

They are arguing about stupid things like who's got the most money, all I suggested was that it would be best to go big at the start if he was planning to upgrade later on. This way avoiding future expense. If he doesn't want to follow his dream then he can always sell later on cos' lets face it who would want to buy a second hand numark mixer........

I myself learnt to mix with a set of numark 1200's or somethin and a bluedog mixer, my point being it's hard to progress your djing abilty on such a limited peice of equipment.

lol, i know what you mean, about how you think that the more you spend on equipment, the bettter youll be, its absolute bullshit....

i wasnt aruiing with everytone a sec ago.... but it fucks me off soooooo much to see one person say, 'i got this mixer it cost 'so much' it will make me better than' then sum other guy saying no, what a waste of money, i bought this for a 1000 dollars more than what you paid, and it has a little button that does this little thing, and that makes me better than you....... it childish and immature. I dsidnt for one se3cond come on ere to try and make myself sound good cos ive had 8 years on an appauling setup..... but its fucking annoying to see kids (yes thats right KIDS) squabbling over tiny features, that dont matter if you know how to use the equipment, that u have...

.... my argument was aimed at that fuckng G-money, who cares what you got compared to any ****** else.... i been into DJing (im willing to say) a lot longer than most ppl on here, it wasnt till the other day that i found out what that allen n heath (whatever its called) was, and then i realised that they charge like 1000 pound for a mixer. I look at it and think wtf does anyone need that?, if you cant work a 100 dollar mixer to its absolute potential( and i mean to its ABSOLUTE POTENTIAL), then its a waste of money,........... give it up man....... you look like a fucking 7 year old with a new action man.

I know what you mean. I myself am not the greatest dj, but my brother is very good, so he likes to buy bigger, which means I get the use of it. This lot earlier in the thread sound like a bunch of bel air bum boys, "no i've got more money than you do" This board is meant to be about people sharing opinions on the music they listen too, and the things that go with it, not about such petty arguments
