that's a very interesting point eugene, i still consider those "dance" djs you call it to be trance.
just the dutch trance sound, which is more commercial = easily promotable and very catchy.

anyways i'll leave it at, i like digweed, he's incredibly skilled and can throw down some excellent stuff.

First of all Digweed doesn't play trance (live). 2nd of all S&D only play together at Twilo...no where else. U can't compare their cds to live. The GU's are made w/pro tools.

Digweed is the best mixer in the industry. GU 19 is brilliant, I think its 1 of best compliations of the year. Digweed is a great DJ but his track selection is too slow for me & sometimes boring & montonous. I can't dance to 122 bmp but his set @ Massive is awesome! Hard...fast but he doesn't play like that at Twilo.

Every month he delivers a fresh set...w/up front tunes. He constantly pushes the envelope. Digweed is very popular in NYC...everyone is riding the prog house bandwagon.

that's an excellent description of his live stylez twilog. digweed is awesome, his work never ceases to amaze me either. constant quality after quality.

if ya ask me
digweed, tenaglia, sasha, cox, etc developed what currently is the progressive scene.. without them i don't htink the scene would be as developed as it is now
they used to break barriers with music..

I don't think Carl Cox is progressive at all. His sets are banging from the first record to the last. He doesn't really build or layer like Digweed, Howells, or Tenaglia.

Twilo is not the only place Sasha and Digweed play together. In the UK they play together loads especially for big events...
