Just because jules said so doesn't actually make it so.

Incedently shit lips, Jules is still the best value for Money DJ in this country when you look at it in pound per bums in seats. Take nothing away from the guy he is far more succesful than 99% of the Djs from his generation and he is a major part the reason your into dance music because he was one of my biggest influences and being your big brother and also being the one who gave you a first taste of DJing Id say yours aswell

Ok maybe I was being a bit harsh, but the fact of the matter is he ain't as good as he used to be. I still prefer him to others such as boat corsten and dj pee-esto, but my comment was meant to point out the fact that because jules wears the 25 sp phones doesn't mean they are brilliant. cos lets face it you have used them and so have I and to tell the truth they are just annoying, what with the stupid swiveling ear piece and the fact the wire always curls up.

just wanted to say i bought some pioneers, i had the choice of the pioneers or technics 1210's and i have to admit the 1210s sound alot more true (if that makes any sense) the pioneer seems like they have a bit more boomy artificial bass (compared to the technics!) but that said i got these because there so damn comfy and you can really crank them! (the technics feel like clamps)
hehehe my 2c!
anyway
take care

lol...this thread is turning out to be almost the same as the other Headphones thread.

A lot of the issues raised here, like Sennheiser HD-280, Sony V700Dj, have been COVERED and dealt with in the Headphones sticky thread above, so you can check it out for info etc.

And there is a LOT of information and great advice there.

I would def go with Sony over Technics. Technics squeeze the crap out of your ears after awhile.. and kill. Personally i use Sony 7506 which are awesome IMO. The mdr-v700's are nice but the still dont fit as good. Mdr-v600's are kosher.. bass is more prodominate i think more than the 7506 but the clarity is much better in the 7506. I also like the Sony 7505's the ear cups are smaller and fit tight around. The sound is good too. All in all i suggest you go and try out what works for you.. everyone said 700's but you know i dont like them as much as my 7506's ... its all about personal taste. to each is own!
