i dont understand the assumption that war and removal of saddam hussein is going to guarantee peace and stability in Iraq - its alot easier said than done for fucks sake!!

im divided on the issue - in some ways you might consider this the right war for the wrong reasons (if there is such a thing as a "right war"). But on the other hand DECLARING war is a huge act to undertake and to do something like that on a hunch... well...

There is no doubt that Saddam is a burdon to his people, but its not valid to declare war just on the basis of removing his oppressive regime - what about zimbabwe and mugabe, what about the chinese occupation of tibet??

who knows what the long term destabilising effects of this are gonna be - i sure dont and the US govt sure doesnt. All things weighed up i dont support the war

I don't like arguments. Therefore I consider myself neutral But Saddam Hussein MUST go, and if it takes war for that to happen then so be it. So actually that makes me kinda pro-war....oh dear, I'm confused.

You can't be neutral if you think that a war is needed if it overthrows the Iraqi government. Neutral would be someone who doesn't care at all (i.e. no opinions about Saddam, Bush or the war itself).

France and Russia had financial interests tied into Saddam's regime, so they were looking out for their own interests as well.

Why can't you be like Chirac?? "More time!!!!!!"
~12 years is quite a while...
The only reason inspectors were let back into Iraq was with the threat of aggression...
I think the US should also hold Israel accountable for not abiding by it's respective UN resolutions as well. They could refuse to sell them anymore weapons for example etc.

you should have put a don't care choice. not that i don't care, but i think war is not the answer to the problem at hand. unfortunately i think bush has poorly defined the problem.
