DA...I'm sorry that you are having such a bad day. My closest friends know that the past two years of my life have been incredibly difficult for me...to the point of being unbearable at times. I try to do things to distract myself, but so far most of my attempts have been futile. This is exactly why I go to shows like Ultra, Ferry, Tiesto, PvD. It's at those moments when I think of nothing else in my life. It may only last for a few hours...but it is so worth it. Ultra...standing two rows back from Tiesto and PvD when they were spinning...standing next to my brother who has been my support system to the point of being an angel...that was the happiest I had been in a long LONG time. The vibe in that amphitheater gave me goosebumps. It was intoxicating. Music can bring on the strongest of feelings. It can flood back old memories and it can help us to create new ones. Music taps into our emotions. It can make you forget about everything else in the world even just for a moment. When I am in the presence of good music, good people, and good vibes...that is when I am the happiest.

I'm somewhat the same way.

When I'm standing in the crowd at any venue and one of my fav djs comes out, all you see is a massive grin on my face. ESPECIALLY when it's PvD, omg.....he's my #1 fav.....yes...the music is what feeds my emotions as well. It defines my moods. I like to stay happy and mellow so I listen to trance nearly 24/7. Now like today, when I'm pissed off, I listen to metal/rock, like Manson, Godsmack and so forth. I can't wait for Saturday, I'm sure I'll be there.

DA I'm sorry to hear about your loss, lots of misfortune going around...
