Happy Birthday Nada - I am glad you had such a wonderful time baby....we friggin rocked it front row centre for Sander and he loved every minute of it - ate that shit right up - and played tunes just for us!!!!!!! (true story!!)...... I laughed my ass off when Graham and company came into the Kool Haus to tell you that the Dish were ripping it in the Main Room and you didn't even budge from FRC and continued to get TRANCED THE FUCK OUT by SVD!!! HAHA! - WIKKID!
with that said.....
everyone I saw during the evening was having more than a great time - everyone seemed more than pleased and loving the music immensely.....which is so nice to see......people smiling and lost in the music dancing their hearts out.....
I was at Sonic the night/morning before for Chus and Ceballos and I danced my ass off then and at around 3:30 I found myself getting a little tired/frustrated that I couldn't dance as hard as I wanted too...I moved around the complex a fair bit at this point trying to find people to say hi too and check on my peeps that were spread all over the place......looking forward most to the guy coming on at 4:30 in the KH - Mr Sander Van Doorn!!!
WOW WOW WOW.......now I had heard that song before and liked it but when I heard it as he opened I was like PLAY THAT SHIT HARD!!! WOOT!!!!

I stayed until the end of Sander's set and then left with Monika, Jody, Tasha, Emma and co and went back to the condo to chill for a bit....
Then Monika and myself left - went back to my place and changed and headed down to the Pantages to hang for a bit with Second Sun and Sander at their hotel room.....
Monika thank you sooo much for this impromptu meeting - this is the third time I have met the guys from Second Sun like this and it has become a tradition of sorts when they come down.....and an even more special treat meeting Sander and being able to pick his brain - talk about some of his experiences abroad and what he thought of Toronto and the vibe he just experienced from us.....needless to say I told him that many of us bought the tickets for 10 year solely to hear him and that the anticipation of him coming was sooo great that he had quite a tall order to fill.....I believe he accomplished it quite marvelously and set the bar for any other tech trance DJ in the future spinning here in Toronto....Sander commented that he loved the energy of the crowds (especially the TranceAddicts) that the smiling faces and pumping of arms only lead to his energy levels being boosted throughout the set.....he will definitely come back to play here again and cannot wait to do so....I think we have a new DJ in love with TORONTO - WOOOT!!!!
In SVD - I found a very humble and gracious person sitting across from me as we were talking and he had no problem allowing me to be the DJ by picking out various cd's to play out of his binder as we were talking and chatting away for the 3 hours we were there

I fukking swooned - what an awesome ending to a WIKKID WIKKID party experience.

I have had a lot of great times over the years at GUV and am so glad to be a part of the promotions team and vibe of this space. Looking forward to many more memories with good music and friends.

Great vibes at wave house this afternoon, but not sure what dahlback played that cheesy god awful music after me, didnt even know i was on the same gig as these guys!! lol ... seriously what the hell is that sound!! eeeekkkk
