Skill?

Anyone who has touched a CDJ can hit the cue button every three seconds to sample acapellas as he did. James Zabiela is skilled, Durand was horrible.

His mixing was atrocious too.

...mixing aside, because that's not what it's really about, you honestly enjoyed stuff like the Chasing Cars remix? I'm not a trance purist, or any other kind of purist, I enjoy cheesy stuff (if it's good music), but that's just horrible. It's pop music.

Rank 1 played mindless electro-house, and Thrillseekers had a two minute breakdown in every track.

Piss poor compared to last year; Halliwell, Above & Beyond, Hardwick. THAT was fucking awesome.

shouldnt be such a critic imo... learn to go out and enjoy the night and music rather than furrowing your brow at the fact that a dj didn't mix to how you think a dj should

Die.

Showmanship: 5/5

As much as I'd love to take points off here out of spite, Durand was extremely responsive to the crowd. I only wish he'd responded when I yelled out "you're the worst DJ I've ever seen, fuck off!".

Consistency: 3/5

Apparently he played a good song last month.

Lmao, I love reading your reviews Beat Blog

My thoughts on the event coming shortly Videos as well.

That actually wasn't a joke.

There was huge breakdown into complete silence, we were up in the stands and I yelled out in anger.
