Rodriguez said Juan Campos was charged with murder Alejandro Alvarez, 37, of Monterrey. Authorities said the wreck happened 15 minutes in the 34 kilometers (21 miles) race Sunday along a road between Baghdad and Playa Matamoros, across from Brownsville, Texas.
Campos said he is a U.S. citizen living in Brownsville. The USA Consulate could not immediately confirm that.

Seeing these tactics, when an election hasn't even been called, just make me loath Harper and the Conservative Party.

Actually this is in response to the attack ads that the Liberals are already running.

Sorry to say that this ad makes a good point. Where was Ignatieff for most of his life? Certainly not Canada

Other groups are watching these events unfold with a keen eye in planning their next one to test their boundaries. It's only going to escalate.

Why do i get the feeling that the taliban and hamas could stage a similar protest and actually get sympathy from elements of canadian society and politicians?

Are we really that much of a self loathing country?

But we are talking about a terrorist organization acting within our own country and causing a disturbance. People need to be reminded that this type of thing can and does happen here too. Sympathizers need to know what they are sympathizing with.

I guessed you missed that, we're talking about terrorist organizations here. Hezbollah flags were waived a few months ago.

I love how everyone ignores the fact that the Sri Lankan government has banned any international aids workers from entering the country. The same goes for any international journalists (who could verify EXACTLY what's going on there); meanwhile local journalists who don't write favourable articles about the Sri Lankan government end up assassinated. Go figure

I guess you missed that all those children out on the highway the other day are not actually terrorists themselves, as much as some of us would like to lump everyone and everything into neat little labels for sensationalism

yay for this black and white world where everything fits in neatly to labels for convenience' sake and nobody has to think about individual situations anymore, right.

People are too self interested to do this.
One day of work = guaranteed revenue/pay
One day of no work = guaranteed lost revenue/pay, with potentially nothing to show for it.
