Next time I won't play a crazy hybrid of Progressive House and borderline Minimal. I confused the fuck out of those kids. The floor was more packed during the end. I think there were like, 10-12 people for the first half of it.

Edit: And yeah, those are my parents. As soon as they found out I was spinning they were adamant about going.

Haha, yeah. It was more of a way to get my foot in the door with that promoter. I'm not at drinking age yet so I couldn't play the club they pack on Thursdays.

I would be embarassed to fuck if only 10 people turned out to hear me play. The first time I played in this small bar, I was quite worried of a similar thing happening so I bought along about 10 mates, plus my whole footy team from back in the day. The presense of 25+ people on the floor spurred many many more people on to the dance floor, and as a result the turn out was awesome - suffice to say I was asked back. It's all about image in this business Nou. You don't get to #110 on internet votes alone you know!

The venue looks a pretty good one to be honest. I'm happy for you that you can say you have such a gig under your belt. It will of course only work to your advantage in the future. Glad it went well for you, you seem like a sound enough lad. Fair play.

The first gig I played in Canada my parents came. They almost didn't let them in as they didn't have IDs
