ha! yeah and what happened in the Health Care vote with 41 Republicans? Oh yeah... it was rammed through anyway with all sorts of snake oil procedural shenennegens never tried before, and against the will of the majority of Americans. Unchecked.
Back to the oil though... when you've lost Anderson Cooper and CNN, well, you've got some problems. So much for that Hopeychangey transparency:

A lot of that procedural stuff was tried before.
A good percentage of the Americans who didn't like it thought it wasn't strong enough
Come on, now. Don't quote Palin with the hopeychangey shit. It's beneath you
Also: Obama has let me down a bit. All politicians do. None are perfect. And I'm not a Democrat or a Republican (I'm something far far worse ). And yeah, big violations on the First down in the gulf at the moment

I wonder if those people who didn't think the healthcare bill was strong enough will have a change of heart when they see the 21 new taxes about to be implemented starting January 1st from it.
And dude! I wasn't quoting Palin. Give me some credit... lol.
So uh.... what are your political leanings that are far worse? You strike me as a moderate. That's not so bad

Hey, I'm all for taxes. They've been raising a lot of taxes where I live lately and I'm all for it. State needs more money. Better to raise taxes than the deficit.
Google Hopey Changey and see what you get
I'm not exactly sure what you'd call me, to be honest. Socialist, maybe

I heard, from someone who apparently knows someone who escaped, that it was because the drill hit a pocket of natural gas that shot the shaft pressure up to 600,000 PSI, right before it exploded and likely vaporized all of the crew-men up there. The guy who escaped said that there are only four rigs in the world (five including that one) that are capable of drilling that deep and that, because of the depth, it's going to be close to impossible to put a cap on it.
He said it will basically be the worst man-made environmental disaster ever.
These commercials used to pepper CNN. I haven't seen this bitch once, since the disaster. Talk about fucking epic failure.
I just read the most excellent article in GQ with first hand knowledge of survivors. Anyone else read it?

the whole oil thing is Ambers fault. Send her head on a plate to NATO and we'll cap it off quickly without waiting for parts, a la homer and the stonecutters.
i better start posting these videos before they're removed
^ "i had a report this week that they're bringing in sand for these photo ops we have the vice president here, we have the president here, we have the governor here, that they're actually bringing sand in. i called bp about this and they said no that's not true"
(removed & reuploaded)
^ "well we reached out to bp to comment on the story we got no response, no response i repeat that"
quote:
Man provides an aerial view of the oil spill by going against BP’s rules and flying his plane over the disaster showing lots of things that BP would rather you not see…
i'm afraid this ecological disaster & the reports surrounding it are heading in a direction which will inevitably render itself as unbelievable, but that matters not for what we are witnessing may very well be the raw reality of an actual cover up, physically and metaphorically.
obviously this is not a desirable conclusion but the picture being painted here is as clear as the water at pensacola beach (prior to the leak/spill), imo.
the wrath of pkcRAISTLIN's ridiculing shitstorms will have no effect on what is, and what is to come
