I've got pretty big expectations on Juventus and the Champions League this year. Both players and Capello has said that Juventus is going to make a even bigger attempt to finally win the Champions League again.
It's been a while though and we're still waiting for our first Champions League win with Capello. Juventus biggest wish this season is clearly to win the UEFA Champions League and I think we've got a big chance to do that because we've managed to get a strong team, both defensively and offensively.
The first leg in the 1/8 Final will be played in Germany and I think we can win over there if we follow Capello's plan. Players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alessandro Del Piero has started scoring again, Del Piero has scored alot this season, but it's very important for Ibrahimovic. 3 goals on 3 matches nad he played very well against Messina last weekend. So, the attackers are really looking good atm even though David Trezeguet hasn't scored on pretty long time.
The midfield is a major key in this match and if we can get Patrick Vieria going together with the rest of the midfield we'll be very dangerous in Germany tomorrow night. Mauro Camoranesi is playing really well and I've got to say that he's been fantastic the last couple of weeks I've seen him. Pavel Nedved isn't int he same shape as Mauro though, He's still searching for the form, but he still plays pretty decent. Emerson has to win the battle on the midfield together with Vieria, so they can provide our players with balls offensively. Adrian Mutu is almost always playing good when he gets the chance, I'm not even worried if Mauro isn't playing and being replaced by Mutu.
Buffon is now back officially and has been playing the last couple of matches after the loss against Roma in the Coppa Italia which Abbiati was playing. Lillian Thuram and Fabio Cannavaro is two very good defenders and they play really good together, Shouldn't be no problems there. Federico Balzaretti has done a great job in the Serie A and Coppa Italia this year, and I would be very surprised if he doesn't get the chance to start instead of Zambrotta who's injured for a couple of weeks. I'm still not sure about the left side, But may I guess either Pessotto or Chielini, Chielini only if he's fit.
That's about it, Now let's play a good match in Germany and try to win it to get a better chance to go through.
