ya.. it's because of the 6 or 7 room format.. every year when I see the final lineup, I have a really hard time deciding 'how' I would spend my night if I was there... so many acts to see, and so little time realistically since it only goes from like 10pm until 6am. Because of the notorious nightmarish lineups to go from one room to the next, I can imagine maybe shifting rooms once tops.

ahh well... it's the mecca for many! Probably the techno festival that draws the most people from throughout Europe, I would think.

to put it in perspective a little.. when Awakenings has back to back parties with 6 or 7 headliners each night, there are only about 3000 tickets sold for each night, and it always sells out. So basically, each room at ILT would be almost double that.

I would just rather hear all of those DJs on their own or at a night with only a few of them - which happens often in europe - because as Kate said, you pretty much have to pick a room and stick with it.

There may be a lot of people who go, but I've read from many people who only travel from elsewhere in europe that it is not worth it...too crowded, too expensive, bla bla...

but it depends what you're going for. I would be going for the music...and you can hear that music on better sound systems in more comfortable environments anytime in europe. I don't like navigating through giant crowds so this only marginally appeals to me.

Looks like Carl Cox will also be on the lineup.. noice! He doesn't tend to play ILT very often.

I wish I remembered more of his set from Fuse at NYE... The Deetron set was recorded and online but I never saw the Joris one .. ahhh well.
