AUDI RS5 |
my God, Audi is getting it SO RIGHT these days, unfrigginbelievable. I was just thinking the other day how genius the designers were to create that whole series of LEDs under the headlights thing. So much more upscale and cooler than BMW's DRL angel eyes in the current models. I always thought those halos were cool but the Audis take it to another level. Can't even imagine what the specs are on the RS5.

Fahad, what track tires and pads are you running?
Man, so lucky to get a spin in that 911. I haven't had a chance to hit the track since the begining of summer, and it looks like the season is pretty much over, unfortunately. |
My tires were borrowed from a friend: shaved 245-40-18 Toyo RA-1s and the pads were not racing spec (need to buy some now that I enjoyed it so much) I had my street Hawk HPSs and I'm gonna get some Performance Friction PF01s for next season.
yeah dude, the 911 techart turbo was an ungodly machine. I can't believe street-legal cars like that exist. It was unreal, like a propellor engine behind your ears. The exhaust is so loud and guttural that you can't even hear the massive twin turbos' blow-off valve. It was unreal, the Gs braking on the sharp right at the end of the second straight. The biggest effing carbon ceramic brakes you will have ever seen, and the stopping power basically was shifting my insides. LMAO the person sitting next to me couldn't even keep his arms down; with each stomp ont the brakes, his body was just limp and hanging forward. And when you stomp the gas, the seats just sucked you in. I can't explain any more clearly how I felt in that monster. And turn were effortless. I obviously wasn't pushing this car to the limit (nor do I know how to), to learn how to drive a beast like that you need professional training (something I hope to get next spring ).
oh, and to Dima's MOAR request:

DRIIIIFT-OOOO!!!!
