Class action suit against Nissan is in the works. Apparently the launch control is an epic fail. 20 launches and the tranny gets fried. There's fine print in the manual that says launch control is not recommended, and warranty is voided as a result. Owners have been tagged with $20,000 repair bills.

I fucking LOVE that 5 series. It just has this character to it that the next model didn't have. Same with the old 7 series before the redesign. I just love the older stuff. So much more character.

Oh and the Nissan thing with their launch control was their fucking dumb mistake. They were playing with fire, and they are going to get burned BIG. They were using launch control as a selling feature but you weren't allowed to use it if you want your warranty. This was the biggest mistake they could make with the car.
