I'd love to see Rubens or Massa win at home. The country would go nuts.
All I hope for between Alonso and Schu is a clean fight. My reasons for wanting each one to win the championship are about equal.

Shumi is having engine problems again, he's gonna start 10th or 20th if they have to change the engine talk about bad luck
or karma ?

As much as I want Alonso and Renault to win both titles, I want a fair race. It's not so exciting anymore if Schumi starts 20th and doesn't end up scoring any points.

It looked gearbox related from where they were attacking the car with wrenches. Clutch/Diff/maybe a driveshaft (though they were only working near the gearbox itself). Might even be hydraulic or electrical.
I think he would have hopped out of the car right upon entering the pits if it was an engine. I was just waiting for him to storm out of the pits and grab pole (heheh grab pole) when everyone least expected it.
He can still win from 10th for sure, especially if there's drama in the 1st corner which is almost guaranteed at Interlagos.
Alonso starting 5th could be dangerous if he gets caught in 1st corner drama. I expected them to fuel him really light, guaranteeing pole and a quick getaway to avoid the potential to be caught in 1st corner drama. Bring him in for his 1st stop around lap 12 and fuel him really long. This puts him out with a relatively clear track and he could fight from there for a conservative points haul and maybe the win depending on other circumstances.
As much as I would like to see Renault go balls-out and try and win, F1 is a business and it makes better business sense to run a conservative race and ensure a good points finish.
Fisi didn't help the team as far as scoring points for the constructors goes. Didn't even make the 1st cut.
Renault can't play too conservative if they want the constructors.
I'm disappointed that Alonso doesn't really seem to even care about the constructors. He's being really selfish in his quest for the title. I guess that shouldn't be too surprising, but I just expected a bit more caring for the team title as well.

^^^ edit: Alonso starts 4th, it's Barrichello starting 5th
Also, it was a fuel pump/pressure problem on Schu's car.
I wonder if Massa jacked up the revs on those last couple laps to ensure he got pole position? It would be interesting to see the telemetry on that.

I'm really happy about today's results
Incredible drive by Schumi, going from 20th back to 4th after killing that left rear tire.
I wish I'd be in Spain partying will all the fans right now
