Yan is the very reason a "losers bracket" would be necessary.

Seriously though, what do you guys think would be a good rule set? Stock? Items? Timed?

With the number of options available we could easily have a tournament a week and use completely different rule sets each time.

Here's the thing about items: I get why people don't like them. The game is definitely a more balanced fighting experience without them, however, I think they're also a ton of fun to play with as well.

Basically between items/no items, stock, coin match, etc., I think we could have a pretty awesome series of tournament style events that would provide just about everyone a chance to do well.

Also, I beat all you mofuggers prior to bed last night with the Ice Climbers. Represent, baby-baby.

yeah that was sad

but absolutely, items help make it random, which is what this game's about as far as i'm concerned

bah
its not fun if you just have the super good items
put them all on on medium/low i'd say
its no fun getting a bat out of a capsule if you know its gonna be something dope, its a lot better when it could be any old piece of crap

Just finished playing a bunch of randome team battles connection problem fixed also I was expecting people to be a lot better then they were only lost once. We should do team battles more they can be fun esp using grabs and reflecting items
