I'm giving my first university lecture tomorrow for an introductory course on ethics and I'm rather nervous.

It's my first time really lecturing to my "peers" (even though it's a class composed mostly of freshman and sophomores) for any significant length of time.

I hope I'm not boring.

you've never had to do a long presentation for anything? also, how long is it?

I've had to do half hour presentations before - and I've student taught at the high school level before, so it's not entirely new.

This lecture is 90 minutes though, so it's a bit longer than anything I've prepared for before.

damn thats a pretty big chunk of time. end it at 30 mins then throw down an hour set.

that is pretty long. On the other hand, though, people aren't going to expect you to cram as much information into something that long as they would for, say, a presentation. I've actually always preferred longer presentations to shorter ones, since it's always easier to be verbose than succint . Then again, I can't even imagine talking for that long. Good luck.
