it works with all of those dj programs i think, it comes with a new one called bdj (it sucks), and the jog wheels don't work well on traktor2.
and it's not only 2 channels, there's a button to switch over to the third and fourth.
as for the pvdj, how can it be an annoyance? it's just a loop tool, and loop tools are always fun, it's in the rulebook.
