Well, I bought them at a flea market. 3 piece set for $50. Not too bad. They are real though. The shape is Samurai, but hey, I could be wrong.

looks too middle easternesque to be a samurai sword (the real ones are not cheap either)

Well, whether it's authentic or not (most likely not) the blades are sharp. They cut. I sometimes use it to chop ice.
