At first I was going to a TIC(not the LA one), didn't know which one before this trip.
After I came back from Miami, the TIC @Miami it's gonna have to be !
And since I was fresh with some info and resources, I checked some stuff out today and fast.

American Airlines is aboot 400 with everything (312 +taxes) (flight center.ca)
Hotel San Juan on Ocean drive aboot 75 a night. There are motels wich go for 45-75 US, but it's on a first come first serve basis, no reservations
The TIC is a 30 min frive from Miami Beach. I say that because (personal opinion)I wouldn't want to stay on the Main land. The action is across the bridge to South Beach.

I have:
2 friends in TO that I am goign to ask, and 5 from Montreal who I was with this past weekend over there.I know not everyone is gonna say "yes".

If TA's are interested we have to get together and bla-bla-bla.

or rochester (use the ferry ??) $214
dont suppose it saves much over flying from Pearson , but a little can always help

Cheapest flight of all is $153 Buffalo to Ft lauderdale
which is a $25 shuttle ride from south beach

We got 213 USD = 238 CAN.
One would have to drive to buffalo and long term park the car.
That will still keep it under 400$ CAN.
it is 25US$ flat rate cab ride from MIA to Miami Beach as well.

Then,
Example: Starlite hotel is aboot 60.41 CAN *x number of days div by 4.
And a one day rental to drive to TIC/4 or 5
Food.
Booze.
One TIC ticket

+Shopping(extra)

At least 500-700 CAN.

I got one friend so far in from the TO side.

Guys: as a repeated visitor to South Beach take my advice: FLY TO FT. LAUDERDALE!!!!!!!!!! Its like $100 less for a flight (last 3 times I didn't spend over $150 US) and if you get 3 people in a cab its only $20 each to south beach!!! trust me, it saves moola, because I have done it both ways (miami and Ft. Lauderdale) several times!!!

BTW NYE is in Vegas, not NYC!!!
