there's actually an interesting quote in oldboy when he escapes his prison and meets a gang.
he says something like "could those 15 years of watching violence on TV be applied to real life?" and he proceeds to beat the shit out of the entire gang. and then "i guess so"

nah, it's something more along the lines of 'years of practice' or whatever...not watching.

also, there's another picture, as well.

Obviously that is false. Polish women love men with hair.

What an incredibly terrible and hard week it's been.

It's been so hard to go to work every day and try and stay composed throughout the day. It's good to to to work to at least get my mind off the tragedy at Tech but if I stop for just an instance to reflect, I start breaking down. It's really tough.

One girl I work with graduated with me the same time with the same major at Tech and we've been each other's backbones. There are other Tech alumni at work, but she's the only one who has the same sort of recent relationship and the same conncectedness with Tech that I have. I've helped her cry a bit and she's helped me. Yesterday during the moment of silence, everyone was watching the live feed on TV, but she and I went outside and had our moment of silence together. We stayed outside for a good half hour, crying, hugging and trying to make sense of everything.

It hurts because my pride and loyalty to Virginia Tech has only gotten stronger and the show of compassion and sympathy from alumni, friends and family just goes to show the close-knit community we have. It's like the COR community here on TA, but in a lot of ways it's different. Our community on TA is all on the internet. There is no central hub, no one place we can all envision as a tangible location.
VT is a tangible location to me. The buildings you see on TV are the same ones I biked past or walked next to. I spent four years of my life at this location.

I just can't put into words how deeply this tragedy has affected me. No words can really describe the despair for something so inhumane like this. This is going to be my last post on Tranceaddict for a long, long time. You guys are awesome and I thank you all for thinking about and praying with me for the victims and the families. I just need time to heal.

If you want to reach me or contact me, feel free to email me; my email is in my profile.

I think that it was to easy for him to gain access to semiautomatic firearms perhaps more so than would be appropriate for a person of his mental status. Society needs to enforces a better background checks prior to selling crazy people guns. He had a history of stocking. The judge ORDERED him to get help. They took him to a place for a period of time the media does not want to tell us and despite all that he could still buy a gun...
All these deaths Why?
I believe that is just wrong when bright people lose their life cause it was all too easy for this maniac to pack guns.

This guy knew nobody. He couldn't have got a gun out on the streets.
Nobody would risk so many lives and years in prison to sell this scum-scull a gun!
Out on the streets they wouldn't need to sell him a gun a gun to get his money. They would stip his ass off his money right there

R.I.P. To the victims
