because it's a good pic.
Analysis: It captures the essence of the DJ's world. His standing there infront of what matters to him at the present time. As you can see, the only other things in the picture are his headphones, the mixer and a turntable. All that surrounds him is nothing but pitch black darkness. All that surrounds him doesn't matter. It's all about the here... adn the now.
Much respect to whoever took that picture. You did an amazing job.
