We can't afford Mo Pete, who is a free agent, especially since we have the increasingly impressive Parker. |
I agree. I'll be really surprised if Mo Pete is still playing for us next year.

I think it was telling that TJ rode the pine in the 4th quarter of Game 6, even though he was playing (or should I say shooting, not passing) very well. That said, TJ's close relationship with Bosh, may mean that TJ stays and Calderon goes. I think Colangelo's positive comments about TJ are intended to try to make it seem like he doesn't want to give him up, to maximize trade value. |
I disagree. I think we'll definitely keep both PG's until at least next season, possibly until the trade deadline. I do think though, that because of TJ's relationship with Bosh, and the fact that he was brought in as the "number 1" PG means that Jose will go. Which will really really really really suck. Maybe Jose and Jorge will go together in a blockbuster trade.

I think the kid just cracked under pressure. I wouldn't give up on Joey just yet. Give him one more year. Maybe even wait until trade deadline to see if his performance improves.

Humphries had a break out year, which means his trade value is probably as high as it will ever be. I just don't think he has the mental or physical toughness required to become a regular in the rotation. With Garbo back and Bargnani starting next season, Humphries' role will be reduced to left bench. Just to the right of Pape Sow. |
I could see both Dixon and Humphries go out in a trade in the off-season. Like you said, for the Raptors, Kris probably reached his peak. Trade him now, along with Dixon for a solid back up for Bosh.

I'd love to see him as an assistant head coach on our team.
| quote: | P.S. How good is Utah?!?!?! Those guys play so hard and play together. I could see them winning it all, to be honest. Utah vs. Bulls (yes, the Bulls, despite the Game 1 fiasco) in the Final, with Utah winning in 6. |
I really wanted to see a Houston-GS match up but oh well. Utah proved to be the better team in the end. I don't see them winning it all though. Right now they play GS which could go either way at this point. Sooner or later the Warriors' magic will run out. I could see them getting past Utah, but in round 3 they'll be playing Phoenix who I think will just destroy GS.
I'm crossing my fingers for Chicago too. I hate Detroit. In the East I see Chicago playing Cleveland and beating them in 7, to on to play the Suns, recreating the 1993 Championship.
