the school that opened up that we lost a lot of good teachers to is like marcellinus or something like that, we lost Mr. Dutfield, one of our best math teachers IMHO, and a whole bunch of others, i wish we lost Ms. McOuat though...
our new principal is garbage, shes a total bitch bent on making pocock an art school just cause she has a PHD in the Arts herself...
on top of that no money is put into anything truly good for our school's community, its totally deteriorating and looks like crap, our turnout at events like buyouts and plays has gone down the crapper cause we cant afford good shows, no school spirit whatsoever and the new niners are infesting the place...went to notre dame the other day, and thats a school with spirit, pocock has lost touch with everything that brought us together since this new principle came...
message me sometime i can tell ya which teachers are still around if youre interested... |
yeah that's too bad. it was a good school. Some of the best math, science and english teachers. Is Mr. Lloyd still around - i had him for 4 classes. Tough but my favourite teacher. I was also in 3 plays while I was there and played on the hockey, volleyball and lacrosse teams. The cafeteria was garbage while i was there - all they sold was poutine and greasy food. anyway, that's too bad but i guess that's the way it goes. i bet when pocock first opened it took a lot of teachers away from another school.

yeah Mr. Lloyd is still around (and his wig), the cafeteria is a bet better now, more choices, they're an actual catering company so stuff is a bit expensive, but they are being choked by the Subway, Pizza Nova, Nick's famous Pitas and TWO Tim Hortons all within a hundred metres around us. the lacrosse team is doing ok, same with the girls hockey team as coached by my law teacher Mr. Stefaniuk, and yeah we also lost some good tech teachers to that school
P.S. Mr Silveri retired but still comes back as a supply almost every day, he was one of my all time fav teachers.

"Even me?" she said.
I thought, "Oh right, if I categorically eliminate all other people, it's just me and her. She'd like that.
"Especially you" I said.
"You are virtually the ring leader, the way I see it."
Then, I blew out the candle.

Oh yeah, hes still there alright, i never took a calculus class, but he hooks up the marks for everybody, and he makes his students get involved in....oh...i dunno...everything ! for example the walk against male violence, he expects guys to participate and threatened that if he sees a single guy from his class anywhere but the walk they're gonna get punched in the face...
