Oh and so far your rhetoric and style of arguing pretty much exactly mirrors the style I see so often on the 24 hour news networks and whatnot, assert false premises then quickly start the argument on the conclusion. Simply put, we are arguing here about a conclusion while we have not yet agreed on the premises, and therefore will not only never reach a conclusion, but both sides will inevitably end up looking like dicks.

And I admit I haven't been following this issue that tightly. So far from some quick looking it seems like the main argument for the church being racist is that if you replaced 'black' with 'white' in the doctrine, it would be racist. Is that the only argument for calling it racist or are there other factors?

yeah that's a pretty big argument actually because it points out the double standard and shows that sympathizers obviously play a role. when blacks call on a white for racism, there is unity and also you will notice that there are whites who come to their defence as well. however, when a white calls on a black for racism like in this case, there isn't solidarity because many whites believe racism goes only one way, they feel guilty, or they refuse to believe that racism could actually happen against their race. the double standard has already been shown in other ways with the likes of al sharpton, who is on record for saying many anti semetic things, calling on don imus and serving as the voice of black people. his own racism and prejudice is forgotten.

and as far as not proving anything you are wrong. before obama's race speech which was bullshit by the way, i was in here saying obama belonged to a racist church and was also a liar. the point about him being a liar has been proven THERE IS NO DEBATING. he is on record as saying he never heard those things from his pastor, then he says he has. <- (that's a lie for those who don't know) he belonged to the church for 20 years!!!!!

Apparently you think there's absolutely no difference between people of different races. That is NOT the definition of racism. This is exactly what I'm talking about, instead of fully addressing my point, you quickly respond with a half response half attack, then raise several other issues trying to draw the conversation away from the things you do not wish to discuss. Saying there is no difference between different races is simply naive, as well as saying that an African-American group is inherently racist.

Obama is not the most liberal senator in the United States Senate. In fact, if that is what you were aiming at, then it is clear you get your news from right-wing think boats because the 'study' that showed Obama was being the most liberal was a hit piece.
