WHoot!! have we recruited a new contributor to our special newsletter I found a replacement for me I think- Rob carry the torch for the next little while for me... as I am catching beginnings of a flu/cold/bronchitis and prolly won't post.

I have been struggling to maintain my steady diet of one or two cigarettes a day( for the last 2 months as I am trying to quit by June,July. I used to smoke a lot more. I find myself sick bec. I sorta went out hard at System on Friday. In my defense, this has been preceded by a couple month of high stress. But on Friday- I just did myself in I think. The poor immune system couldn"t handle it and has since collapsed - me thinks. Went to see my friend Matt Gracie spin at System and smoked too much and drank too- did NOT dance enough so now I suffer.twas funny I was cursing Farina as he just couldn't bring me into the party and maybe the fuckin pimps and hoes at System added a bit to it
Anyway now me body hurts as I sip NEOCITRAN, my throat is raw, my nose plugged not to mention my lungs that feel beat * pulls blanket closer*
No No I don't need the rightous sort of advise - me is old enuff to know that I should take care of myself better, but I argue that to err is human.
Soo.... send me good advise,good tips and good energy so I can get better and claim my spot on the dancefloor.
so far I have gargled with salt,am sipping on Neocitran, slept 12 hours straight, kept myself warm, ate a nice healthy meal, NOT smoked cigarettes ( urgh!) or pot all day, been a big suck all night.
SO now I just need to knock myself out so i can rest for another 12 hours and hopefully recover faster. I HATE BEING ILL!!!! I feel like death has just warmed over me.

voodoochild, cutting down on cigarettes won't help you quit.
stopping smoking is completely mental.

if you want a suggestion for a good book to put you in the right frame of mind and break any mental barriers you have..

i spent his whole set dancing minus a couple bathroom breaks.

I KNOW i will have quit sooner or later but mind needs time to adjust to new thinking.

right now I am becoming a big SUCK.... turning into childlike state. Must sleep soon- maybe a sleeping pill will help... actually neocittran is working I think.
On a positive note- I called me boi and suckered him into coming over to take care of me. He will come bearing halls, nasal spray etc. as I feel too weak

no problem.. i actually left a few copies of the book sitting out at work over christmas.. they were all taken..
