heh this is where the new models show some serious advantages. the battery life has improved tremendously. also the models released in the last year support SDHC (sd cards over 2gb). comes in very handy. especially since the cards have come down in price considerably compared to when i bought a 4gb 1yr ago it was $almost 300 direct from sandisk. i got it for $100.

edit//a 4gb Sandisk SDHC Extreme III can be had for $80 via pricewatch!

edit2//a 4gb Sandisk SDHC Extreme II is only $65.

on a side note, i'm glad i brought my laptop since it's hard getting to a comp in these hostels. everyone pretty much hogs the kiosks to either write email or check facebook nonstop

haha yeah the new cameras are really good. i had an SD800IS (gave it to a friend for her bday cause she used it wayyyy more than i did. she loves me for it) and the thing would last a whole days worth of taking pics. and the 4gb card was never full in that time either. very convenient.

It seems every phone call I make is just a few seconds over a 1 minute interval, so I always get cheated almost a whole minute every call I make

Last week:
A guy who used to be my neighbor, who was a real cunt and ended up turning into a huge druggie, alcoholic and just all around fucking up his life called me, out of the blue. He got my number because his brother is friends with my brother.

So he tells me that he's calling me because he knows I'm into electronic music. The entire time he's talking it sounds like he's reading something he's wrote out and goes on and on about how he's sober, has a sponsor, etc. He then asks if I'd be willing to get together sometime and "throw some shit together" and if I would show him where all of the big raves are and stuff. He asks me what I listen to and I tell him stuff that he wouldn't like, then he goes, "Oh, well I've got some ATB, some Armin, Quicksilver, Ian Van Dahl, and of course Tiesto." And he went on and on about getting together for the longest fucking time.

I told him that I was too fucking busy and if he gave me his number I would call him when I had the time. Needless to say, to this day I'm still "too busy."

Five Minutes Ago:
I come home from work, and everybody else is out at my cousins birthday party. I open the screen door and find a CD sitting between the screen door and the main door. I figured one of my dads friends dropped it off, because that's usually what happens. All that is written on the front is a tracklist. My suspicions of it being for my dad shift when I see "Carte Blanche" listed on it. I open it up and it's a burnt copy of a fucking Nick Sentience CD, and on the CD the guy wrote "Andrew's Phone" and his number.

THAT FUCKING CREEPS ME THE FUCK OUT. WHAT THE FUCKING HELL IS THAT SHIT!?
