No idea. I dont think the sharks really need him. He just cleared waivers today too. Not sure how to feel about it.

he did win 4 stanley cups and the conn smyth trophy (playoff mvp)...so my guess is that sharks management is looking for a leader that knows what it takes to win a cup and not choke.

yeah...patrick marleau has never been considered much of a leader throughout the league and joe thornton is notorious for being a quiet guy in the dressing room so it must be a leadership thing. Lemieux will chew out people pretty quickly if he does not like what he sees.

it certainly does not make the sharks a worse team...so it can't hurt.

Fuckin Boston is something else right now. Ive been trying to catch their games but most are before Im off work and I dont have a DVR.

Im glad hes on the sharks I guess. Hes just a bit rougher than the game the sharks seem to be playing. Calgary or Dallas seems like his style. What do I know though...we will see.
