Well I agree that bars are a little extreme. However, I'm all about no smoking in public places. Would you change your opinion however if the majority of bar goers did not smoke and would want smokeless atmospheres?
I have yet to see a single nightclub or "adult" ( ) establishment where that would be the case.
In principle yeah, but c'mon, that ashtray atmosphere is part of the experience
And I smoke occasionally because I like how it's part of the atmosphere and also it's relaxing for me in social situations.

glow sticks are not banned by law. it was proposed in the rave act that they be considered pharaphenlia (along with water) but they removed that line realizing that their heads are up their asses.
1. i hope you were kidding about the water part. Otherwise someone should explain the word "hydration" to those congress types.
2. Yes, america is the 'land of the free', but in terms of personal freedoms, it lacks behind many other countries. A lot of citizens do not seem to care though. These days, it appears to me, the government can do pretty much ANYTHING it pleases. the only thing it has to do is market it as a "security feature" or something that will "prevent terrorism". This is sad for america. I hope some day the majority of voter will wake upo and realize that they are living in a police state.
ps.: this was NOT supposed to bash america. I don't think it sounds that way, but just in case, i figured that i needed to add this :P
