By the way, I've got nothing against you. Just some simple teasing ;p

armin plays prog?
the world is fucking ending.

Also, a lot of my buddies are getting into prog this year.

that horrible production "as the rush comes" under the guise motorcycle is far from prog..

g + d's sets for the most part are good, but that release... makes me choke.

P.S. Prog sucks

prog may suck in your "opinion"

but noone can argue which is more "original"

Are you sure? Based on what concept of "originality"? They're both working on different elements, how can you say one is more original than the other? If someone started to produce prog at 165 BPM, the kick was reversed and it had owls singing instead of vocals, it would be pretty damn original, but that's not the case, is it?

No genre is better than the other

In my opinion, 2003 is trying to rival 1999 for the greatest year of trance. The tunes that have been released this year have been unreal!!!!

As a firm advocate of Progressive Trance, seeing the constant division between fanatical progheads and trancers troubles me. It's much like a socialist in the midst of the Cold War.

Anyhow, this is my take: Progressive definitely takes more time and patience to appreciate, hence the whole idea that tranceaddicts "mature" into progressive fans. But the argument misses a key point: just because someone comes to appreciate progressive doesn't mean they then suddenly dislike trance. I happen to like both.

Bottom line: progressive is more difficult to understand, but that doesn't make it "better" than trance. Hard House and Hardstyle, on the other hand, still both suck.

Reso is "gOuRYeLLa~!", and I'm pretty sure all he's trying to do is ridicule "prog elitists" with these posts, so I wouldn't pay attention to him.

I can't believe the amount of elitism expressed by both sides of the Progressive vs Trance debate.

*cough*

Erhm .. don't know if you are referring to Armin van Buuren, but if you are, I feel sorry for you and your knowledge of electronic music.

If you are going to keep waiting for Mr. Verwest to get better at mixing, you'll have to wait for a long time. He is only getting worse.

And I find it rather entertaining how all of you jackasses who slag us for being elitist ****s for liking prog house come and shit on us like you are so much better. Nothing like being hypocritical.
