I just love how the American people keep voting for inexperienced politicians who don't know how to do their jobs...

its all rediculous and fucked up. i think its a tactic to keep bushieboy in power and keep the rest of the reps ontop of things in congress and senate.
regardless of who's elected. lots of changes for the better are needed

Some political operatives assume Arnold Schwarzenegger's "Nazi background" could haunt him in a potential gubernatorial campaign, but it's clear the actor and bodybuilder has rejected that part of Austrian history.

Rabbi Marvin Hier, dean and founder of the Wiesenthal Center, said Schwarzenegger has been a generous donor to the Jewish human rights organization -- "every time he does a movie, he writes a check" -- and has been granted its National Leadership Award for his humanitarian work.

"It's not a proud moment for anyone when you learn your father was a member of the Nazi Party," Hier said in an interview. "But Arnold is not his father, and Arnold has to be judged for who he is. I have always found him to be interested in the issues of the museum. He has been very friendly and supportive."

And the Presidence of the Europe turns every six months. Since July 1st, Italy is the country that leads European Union.

Yeah but the thing is that the Parliament or the commission cannot make any decicions, all they can do is to make the proposals, all decicions are made by the council of ministers where every country has 1 vote, this is note fair, they are chooosed by our people though.... And they don't have the power that the US president have... But EU really need to do some big changes! i hope for a federation and a big cut of the farmers substiutes.... (i guess u france are a bit to blame for that )

When they were filming one of the scenes for t3 one guy had a rather funny(in my jewish opinion) shirt concerning the jews as money lenders stereotype, but he was talking with some guy who was clearly a neo-nazi type and he booted both of them from the set(they were just manual labor peeps.) He said it was distastefull and almost got really pissed off. I dont know if he was afraid that it would be bad for his image or what, but it was really funny :P

It's going to be an interesting election. I heard that the original recall process was put in place to give power to the people in case "special interests" had undue influence over the governor. It's ironic that it is a special interest in the form of Issa who has taken over the process.

What about Riodean (sp?) the ex mayor of LA. He could beat Davis in a straight fight and easily in the recall since Davis needs 50% to avoid recall but Riodean only needs a plurality to get elected.

BTW the bid ask on a bet for Davis is about 0.17 to 0.24 cents on the dollar

This is going to be fun.

You know what they say... Hasta la vista Davis
