aww, what a wonderful guitar (acoustic guitar???) buildup.

ya, i guess it does P=ss me off seeing my friends (those socal asian teen ravers) constantly say "wow, Dj mystik's song called Iguana is the best" or "hey, u gotta download Dj Mystik's Out of the blue". I have to steer them in the right direction of Mauro Piccottos and System F's and they still constantly say Dj mystik produces most of those songs...

...but does Dj Mystik produce some of those songs?
anways, hearing it [eternity 2001] again just inspired me to look for the original artist again. but somewhere (and i just forgot where) said that Dj Mystik actually DID produce it himself.
On Plur, there is a remix of Better Off Alone which i NEVER EVER found the original artist to. it had this KILLER piano loop. I'm guessing possibly Dj Mystik remixed it himself, but i dunno...

I got the track off your locker and listened to the it. I had the feeling it wasn't his production. From 0:00 to 2:46 it's Orion - Eternity, the rest after I don't know. I have the Darren Tate mix of Orion's Eternity. He's a lying silver-tongued devil if he said he made this.

MO, this track bites. The transition from 2:46 mark is terrible, and the rest after is like tacked on that mushed up the original track: Harder bassline, gets a jumpier tempo, and oriental synths with indian chant sampling.

If you can, upped the Better off alone remix, maybe I could tell you who did it instead of ooh sooo great producer Mystik. How ironic his alias is, there's no mystery to him, he's total baloney.

All his fans are being duped and hood-winked.

Very true words that has real feelings while Mystik is nothing but an illusion he creates for his fans. I would say this guy is lying to himself. I really like to smack this guy and his other compadres (sp).

The bpm is a tad slow for me, and the tempo is err goin nowhere. Yeah, your right, it's brain freeze for me too.

Unhappy Miserable nights

"Same here. It's elevator music. You can probably hear the crickets when he plays his set."

Lol, I'm glad some of you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Now you felt that listening to it on your computer, I had to live a night of misery with him. I just hate those nights, you see hot girls everywhere and you just feel like turning violent or something, the music is so lame you look at the people and you are like "how the hell can they pretend they are having fun with this crap on", then a hot girl is looking at you and you are so hopelessly bored and wrecked you can't get yourself to move towards her because you feel you just can't get into any rhythm at all, either dancing and now you feel you can't even talk or do anything right..lol, ok enough on that, I hope someone understands what I mean. Why can't one simply somehow avoid those bad nights. Hehe, maybe I should make a thread about this.

ARGH. ok, I just downloaded that Eternity 2001 clip and if that's what Mystyk considers a REMIX , he must be kidding himself.. All he does is slowdown the beginning portion of the song.. Other than that, there's NOTHING in here that's different than the Darren Tate remix...

Bwahaha.. I guess if the hot babes can't crank you up even if Satosh is putting you to sleep, that's one crummy night to live through! LOL

I remember that night when I was stupid enough to go to a Drum & Bass party. Good lord, the miserable droning that was in endless supply. Luckily, well if I could call luck, my sketched friend got three of us booted out of the rave because security saw him with 10 hits of E. We ended up going to a gay night club (Detour) that actually played much better music! The irony of it all, the friggin guys were checking one of my friend and me out! bwahahaha

By the time I got back to the rave, I ended up talking to err my ladyfriend's ex-bf (just broke up) because he was in the dumps, a miserable dog still xinging on E and beyond help. I had to pull out my special artillery in situations like this.

So in short, I spent money on a rave I was barely there to party. But at least I tried to enjoy myself while I wasn't there. LOL

Yea, maybe I should have one of the mappers do a map with DJ Mystyk at a rave party playing Satoshi Tomii music and the bomb target can be Mystyk's shoddy ass turntable.

hmm.. interesting how this DJ Mystyk thread turned into a satoshi tomie bashing.

Hehe, Tokyo Ghetto Pussy is Dutch. Produced by Wessel van Diepen, also know him from The Vengaboys and his radio program Van Diepens Dance Department on Radio 538 (where you get all the good mixes from)
